Linuxtage 2026

After last years fun debut at the Grazer Linuxtage we decided to have our own info booth to present the association and our many services to interested visitors.

Different services of private.coffee are printed onto a cardboard. One of them reads "trauerst du noch Google Reader nach?" advertising our FreshRSS service.

We had many great conversations with other local initiatives, interested people who on the spot decided to become members themselves, and also people who already were members.

Our booth was shared with the Institute of Biomedical Imaging, the Open Source Imaging Initiative and COHIRADIA as we had some overlap between members of the different organizations. This gave visitors the opportunity to not only talk about open-source software, but also historic radio conservation with live demonstrations, advanced MRI reconstruction and an operational open-source low-field MRI scanner.

A view of the full booth. From left to right: a low-field MRI scanner with two people in the back, the institute of biomedical imaging booth, the open source imaging initiative booth, the private.coffee booth with two people being present and the COHIRADIA booth.

It's always fun to have these direct interactions with the community and we hope to see many of you there next year!
